Hey everyone!
Well, I am glad that I finally figured out to work something like this. For the last 16+ days, I have been putting down my thoughts onto a word document, but now that I have successfully gotten this work, I feel it is time to be an adult and finally do what I have wanted to do this whole time, and that is blog about what I have coming up this fall. The original plan was to spend roughly one month in England, exploring London and various other cities in the country. However, in the last 4 weeks, it has become so much more...
For those of you who are not in my inner circle, then this will be something that is new for you. At the end of February this year, my job file partial bankruptcy and was forced to sell to a liquidation company. While this would have normally been the end of the world to me, I finally took the lemons life gave me and made some lemonade! The sale will end around the end of July and I have decided that I wanted to take an extended leave of absence from the States and go to England again, but now with this time off from work I will have, I have decided to make it a 3-month trip around various parts of Europe. Mainly the ones that are not currently in the middle of wars. (Sorry Putin and Z-Man, your countries are out)
While I have not nailed down a solid itinerary around the continent, I have secured at least one house sit in the middle of London, and that has been the fulcrum from where I have started planning out my trip. What I plan to do with this blog and this site is to document out where I will be going in Europe and what all I will be doing. I will be posting photos of what I will be doing and also look into making a small YouTube channel, so I can add video updates as well. I am not too familiar with how all of that works, so that will be something I will be investigating (be prepared for 4th wall breaks in the middle of these posts) in the coming future.
In later posts, I will gladly be talking about the trip and what it means to me and some other things in the hustle and bustle that is my life, but for now, we will focus on the trip itself and not get bogged down in those tawdry details.
Anyway, I do not have too many photos up yet of my 2007 trips to England and Canada during my Senior year in high school, but I am sure that I can find some and get them uploaded. For now, we will stick with the 2022 version of my London trip, as well as the 2022 Family Disney Vacation we had. This will be a good start to getting this up and running while I try to work on getting the plans for the rest of the trip, as well as further blog posts. This site will also go through various updates and changes, so please stand by for that as well.
Until next time,
Tc
