So this is a pretty big update today!
All of my family and most of my friends know how big of a Chelsea FC fan I am! During my 2022 visit, I tried to get tickets to a Chelsea match, but with the breakout of the Russian Invasion of the Ukraine, they halted all ticket sales (whole thing, won't get into it right now) and that also included sales of the stadium tour. Of course, they came out later and said they would have honored the sales of all tours bought before the sanctions against the club, but that is neither here nor there.
While I sit here and wait until the tickets for games go on sale, I am happy to announce that I booked my tour of Stamford Bridge, Chelsea's home field, on Monday the 9th of September and I could not be any happier!
Ironically, as of the time of writing this update, Chelsea are playing at the Bridge right now. So I guess it is a perfect time to be writing this!
I have been able to stand outside of this beautiful stadium, and walk around it, but this will be my first time actually getting a chance to be inside of it, along with looking at the locker rooms and what not. You should fully expect a review of my tour of the stadium and a litany of photos. I will do my best to keep them limited, but I think we all know I will be too excited and probably won't be able to stop taking them!
I have also made up my mind, and when I get to the Bridge and get to the Chelsea Megastore, I will be buying Cole Palmer jersey. He is what the team as been missing, but that is another conversation for another time!
It seems like every week, or sometimes every day, there is something new and exciting coming up with this trip! I really cannot wait to share with all of you the final product of what will be going on. It still seems so far away but (at the time of writing) it is only a couple days shy of over 100 days!
Well, I think that will be all for this post.
Until next time,
Tc
