Hey guys!
I really thought I would do more updates before this one, but I have a feeling that the closer we get to takeoff, the more updates that will follow. As of the time of writing, we sit at 17 different stadium tours, two English soccer matches, one Rugby Union match, and one Rugby League match. There are still some updates on the games front, but once those come in, I will make sure to let everyone know! I will make that a post all on its own.
For now what I wanted to do was to show you all some of the stuff I have bought in preparation for this trip. I didn't want to get much, but enough to make sure I am 100% ready. Since I am going in the fall, I wanted to be ready for rain
The first two times I have been in the UK, it has been spring time or early summer (April 2007 and May 2022). I made sure to do my research to know what the weather will be like when I am there and from what I have read, October through January are the wettest months. So the windbreaker and the umbrella made sense for this trip and in general as I did not have either one of those items. I do have a smaller bag with a Chelsea logo on it and while I like it, it was not always the best to lug around souvenirs in. So this new bag is much larger than the Chelsea bag and will be something I can tote around what I need and not feel like I am burdened down.
My mom is letting me use her camera while I am over there (to make sure I look COMPLETELY like a tourist) and with my having a MacBook, I needed to make sure I had something that I could use to transfer those pictures. I know what some of you might be thinking "use your phone and your iCloud", and I will, but hey who cares. It's not like I won't stand out anyway, so might as well lean into the tourist schtick the best that I can. Plus, I plan on spending some of my slower days, getting some nice photos around the city and the various gardens, cathedrals, and sights I will be going to (more on those later on). I wanted to share these items with you guys, just in case you thought about getting something like them for yourself.
Unfortunately, there is not too much more to talk about and update you all on. Once I have my other big news and surprises confirmed, I will be shouting them form the top of a mountain, if I can!
Until next time,
Tc
